- Card dealing
Both the Banker and the Player receive two cards, and depending on their value, a third card may be drawn. The cards are valued at face value, with 10s and face cards (Jack, Queen, King) worth zero and Aces worth one point. If a hand’s total exceeds 10, only the second digit is counted, making a hand of 14 worth just 4 points.
- House edge
The Banker’s hand offers the best odds, with a house edge of 1.06%, though it pays out slightly less at 0.95:1 due to a 5% house commission.
Betting on the Player’s hand has a slightly higher house edge of 1.24%, paying out 1:1. The tie bet, while tempting with its 8:1 payout, comes with a strong 14.36% house edge, making it the least favorable option.
