Bettilt has expanded its responsible gambling tools beyond self-exclusion and cool-off periods. Players can now set financial limits to stay in control. These include caps on deposits, maximum bets, and potential losses.

Self-Exclusion and Cool-Off Policies
A few key rules about cool-off feature to keep in mind: if you choose stricter limits, the new settings replace your current ones immediately. But if you try to loosen them, the change won’t apply until 7 days later, giving you time to reconsider.
Self-exclusion has even stricter conditions. If you request account closure due to gambling addiction, your account stays locked indefinitely. It can only be reactivated with an official medical report confirming full recovery. In other cases unrelated to addiction, the account remains closed for a minimum of six months. Reactivation isn’t possible until that time is up.

Overall, Bettilt lands somewhere in the middle. Out of 200+ reviews, there’s a relatively balanced mix of positive and negative feedback. But a closer look at the positive side raises some eyebrows. Many of the glowing 5-star reviews (dating back to June 2024) come from verified profiles that haven’t reviewed any other casinos—just Bettilt. The casino does respond to these reviews, but it feels a little too curated.
On the flip side, the recent negative reviews point to a few serious concerns: accounts being blocked without warning, and rejected withdrawals. The casino replies to these as well, but most of the responses are cookie-cutter, pointing out that players used Martingale strategies or abused bonuses.
One comment stood out, though: a player complained about their account being closed, and the casino responded by citing a rule that prohibits former employees and their relatives from playing. Surprisingly, that policy is actually listed in the Terms. In this case, the explanation checks out.
But another review claimed the casino refused to provide proof of a violation, and simply refunded the player’s last deposit without addressing the issue directly. That one raised my brow.
