The Gameplay Experience: Testing the Mechanics
The mechanic is standard for the format: place a bet before the round starts, watch the multiplier climb from 1.00x as the plane ascends, and cash out before it flies off. High Flyer runs two independent bet spots per round, each with its own auto cashout and autoplay settings, so you can size a safer bet against a riskier one without switching screens.
We tested High Flyer over 400 rounds on desktop at a $2 stake per spot, tracking how often the built-in Auto Cashout tool's 100x ceiling actually mattered against how the round played out manually.
Compared to Aviator, the format both games draw from, High Flyer's 97% RTP matched Aviator's published figure almost exactly, and the round pacing felt just as quick. On the other hand, Spaceman, Pragmatic's earlier crash release, had a lower RTP and a much smaller max win, making High Flyer feel like the more generous of the studio's two options.
