The Gameplay Experience: Testing the Mechanics
Betting works two ways here. You can place a manual bet and hit cash out whenever you choose, or hand the decision to the autobet console, which lets you set a cash-out target, a fixed number of consecutive rounds, and separate stop conditions for profit and loss. Rounds move fast, with only five seconds between one round ending and the next bet window opening.
Our test ran 400 rounds on desktop at a $2 stake, split evenly between manual play and the autobet console set to a 2x target, to see whether handing the decision off actually changed the outcome over a long session.
The autobet console came out ahead by a small margin, mostly because it never hesitated on a cash-out the way a manual click occasionally did under time pressure. One noticeable pattern in our results was a real cluster of low, sub-1.2x rounds early on, followed by several stronger multipliers in a row later in the session, a swing wide enough that it changed how much we trusted any single 50-round stretch.
