When I turned to places like Reddit to see what players had to say, the feedback was concerning. Many Reddit comments from the past 4 years point to the presence of bots that manipulate the games, making it harder for real players to win.

I even found video evidence on YouTube, with content from six months to four years ago, where players claim and demonstrate that ACR has a fixed poker algorithm, with bots running the show more often than not. The comment sections below these videos pretty much echo the sentiments found on Reddit.

This isn’t just a sporadic issue; it’s a recurring problem. The Poker News has covered the extent of bot-fueled games at ACR and what the casino has (unsuccessfully) done to counteract it, featuring social media coverage of the situation.

Considering player experiences over the years and the video evidence, it seems that ACR is rigged to the point it doesn’t seem like a coincidence stemming from bots only. From my experience, the Americas Cardroom support is prompt but not particularly committed to solving inquiries, especially if you’re just there to ask for information.

For instance, when I mentioned that I wasn't a registered player, the agent didn’t go the extra mile to highlight some benefits or try to make me more interested.

Before accessing customer support, you have to get through the virtual assistant. Keep in mind the virtual assistant will insist on typing in your email (even if you’re not registered), which I did, and I got transferred to an agent anyway.

For me to rate a casino's customer support at the highest level, it needs to be accessible to unregistered players who are exploring their next platform.

Additionally, the support team should readily provide clear information about the casino's licensing when asked.

Final verdict

Rather than ending this review with a list of suggestions, I’ll simply highlight its strengths and red flags.

The bonuses and mobile-friendly gaming environment are definite positives. However, for me, the safety factor is always the top priority. Unfortunately, the casino falls short in this regard. It doesn’t appear to fully uphold its status as an iTech Labs-certified platform, with numerous reports of rigged gameplay raising concerns. Additionally, without proper licensing, regaining the trust of poker players will be difficult anytime soon..
