Fanatics Betting and Gaming launched a unified mobile app called Fanatics Sports & Casino on September 2, combining its sportsbook, online casino and prediction markets into a single platform, Crypto Briefing reported. Sportsbook access is live in 23 states plus Washington, D.C., and online casino games are available in four states, while prediction markets reach 22 states and four US territories. CEO Matt King discussed the strategy in a Bloomberg interview, and the prediction markets feature was built through a partnership with Crypto.com.

Fanatics Betting and Gaming has merged its sportsbook, online casino, and prediction markets into a single mobile app called Fanatics Sports & Casino, Crypto Briefing reported. The unified platform launched on September 2.

CEO Matt King laid out the strategy in a Bloomberg interview, framing the all-in-one approach as the natural evolution of how fans want to engage with betting, the report said.

Geo-Aware Product Access

The app’s most notable technical feature is its geo-aware design. Depending on where a user physically sits, the app automatically adjusts which products are available, Crypto Briefing reported.

Sportsbook access is live in 23 states plus Washington, D.C. Online casino games are limited to four states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia. Prediction markets reach 22 states and four US territories, according to the report.

Fanatics migrated existing customers to the new app automatically, preserving their accounts and FanCash balances. New users can download the app from standard app stores on both iOS and Android.

Prediction Markets and the Crypto.com Partnership

Fanatics Markets initially launched as a standalone app on December 3, 2025, targeting states without traditional sportsbook access, Crypto Briefing reported.

That standalone prediction markets product was built through a partnership with Crypto.com, which provided the infrastructure for derivative trading on the platform, according to the report.

The app now offers up to 10% FanCash back on prediction market trades. That rewards structure mirrors what Fanatics already does across its merchandise and collectibles businesses, creating a loyalty loop that King has repeatedly pointed to as a competitive moat, the report said.

Market Position and NFL Partnership

King discussed Fanatics’ market positioning during the Bloomberg interview, noting the company has climbed to become the third-largest US sportsbook, according to Crypto Briefing.

Fanatics secured official NFL sportsbook partnership status in late August 2026, just days before the app went live. Football season drives most US sports betting handle, and Fanatics wanted its new product in customers’ hands before kickoff weekend, the report said.

The NFL partnership gives Fanatics official league branding and access to data. The company already controls a large share of licensed sports merchandise through its core business, and the report said adding official sportsbook status creates a vertically integrated sports fan ecosystem.

Cross-Selling Strategy

By combining sportsbook, casino and prediction markets into one app, Fanatics can cross-sell across verticals without paying to acquire the same customer three times, Crypto Briefing reported.

The report said Fanatics’ edge is not necessarily the betting product itself. It is the 100-million-plus customer base already buying jerseys and trading cards through the parent company’s other businesses.

The launch positions Fanatics to compete more directly in a market that DraftKings and FanDuel have dominated for years, according to the report.
